Student Research Symposium 2016

The Student Research Symposium is a two-day event recognizing the outstanding scholarly accomplishments of SDSU students.

The SRS provides a public forum where SDSU students present their research, scholarship or creative activities. All SDSU students--including those who graduated after Spring 2015--are encouraged to submit an application to present either preliminary or completed results from their original research or creative activity. Presentations, whether oral, poster, exhibit or performance, are organized by academic disciplines with divisions for undergraduate, masther's and doctoral students.

Presidential Awards ($500) will be made to recognize outstanding achievement in original scholarship. These graduate and undergraduate students will go on to represent SDSU at the CSU Student Research Competition in May 2016. In total over 50 cash awards will be given in recognition of outstanding presentations or performance during SRS 2016.

SRS participants should plan to attend the reception and award ceremony on Saturday, March 5, 2016.
